Bernice Sparks
1918-2008
Francis Bernice Sparks, age 89, passed away August 14, 2008 in Provo, Utah.
She was born September 19, 1918 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, to James Albert and Evelyn Catherine Madsen Burton. She married Edwin Roy Sparks November of 1934 in Manti, Utah.
She worked in the heath care profession in Nephi for many years and only retired in the last few years. She was member of the LDS church. She loved her family and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived her son, Bert (Sally) Sparks of Nephi; grandchildren, Shan (Glenna) Sparks of West Jordan; Kim Sparks of Henderson, NV; Cassie (Brandon) Keisel of Salina; 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by one sister and 2 brothers.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. August 18, 2008 in Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah.
Christopher V. White
1971-2008
Our beloved Christopher Vard White, age 36, left us to be with God August 14, 2008 at his home in Nephi, Utah.
He was born November 1, 1971 in Payson, Utah, to Vard and Diane White. He married his best friend, Natalie Newton April 21, 2006.
He was an Industrial Machinist. He loved the outdoors, especially snowmobiling with Natalie and the boys, playing guitar with his boys, and motocross riding with his dad. He was a member of the LDS church. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.
Survived by his wife, Natalie Leigh Newton White; sons, Brendon and Brady White; parents, Vard and Diane White of Nephi; brothers, Shawn ( Sonya) White of Draper; Kevin (Vikki) White of Nephi; in-laws, Gordon and Pat Newton of Mona; grandmother, Ginger White of Nephi. Preceded in death by grandparents, Ivol (Whizzer) White, Jack and Edna Mae Ludlow.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2008 in the Nephi 2nd Ward, 222 South 100East. Interment in Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah.
