INVITATION TO BID Separate sealed bids for construction of Owens Corning MSA Project will be received by The City of Nephi from bidders. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at The Nephi City Offices. The work to be performed under this project shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment required to construct the facilities and features called for by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS and as shown on the DRAWINGS. All Work associated with this Project shall be in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, County and City requirements. The Owens Corning MSA Project will be limited to an intermediate-pressure hot tie in, steel pipeline construction, and constructing a new metering and regulation station. The City of Nephi (City) intends to hot tap an existing high-pressure natural gas steel line, install approximately 250 feet of 4-inch steel pipe from the hot tie-in to a new metering and regulation station East of Owens Corning in Nephi, Utah. A separate service line of approximately 100 feet of 4-inch low pressure steel will run from the new metering and regulation station to a new connection flange located above ground on the East outside wall of Owens Corning. The old meter set and service line will be removed/abandoned. The high-pressure line and station will operate with a Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure of 720 pig and an operating pressure of approximately 320 pig. This project is funded by The City of Nephi. Plans and specifications have been prepared by Sunrise Engineering, Inc. and will be available starting Wednesday, September 21, 2022 on their website plan room at http://www.sunrise-eng.com.
